Of course, I love my family, even when I have to go to Walmart! 🙂
Teresa Kogut had a chart for Patreon members in May (I think it was May) entitled Love Your Family. I wrote this blog post about it because I planned to do it for my June Cross Stitch Camp project but changed my mind.
Last night there was a live chat session with Teresa Kogut. She’s going to publish her Patreon charts from the past year in several booklets. They will be released at the Nashville Market which is in the late spring, 2022. Teresa asked if her patreon members wanted to stitch the models for the booklets so the live chat last night was for everyone to sign up for whatever they wanted to make.
I chose Love My Family, since . . I love my family <G> and I thought I had already pulled the floss for it.
I went down to my well organized stitching closet (and I am really patting myself on the back because this is not my nature) and there was a floss ring with all the called for floss in a bag with the fabric I had chosen, with the paper pattern I had printed. That made me so happy to have it all right there.
I may change the fabric to this – Picture This Plus, color is Legacy.
This is the color I had picked when I was going to do it in June.
This color is Winter Moon. I like both options but I think the Legacy (first one) makes the piece look older and more primitive.
Any thoughts? I’m not going to start this til after I finish Addie’s pumpkin.
There are some colors that blend into both pieces of fabric but most, if not all, will be surrounded by other floss and not standing alone on the fabric.

Lovely floss colors – I think I like the Legacy best.

That would be my choice also?

First off I don’t know what the pattern looks like and I don’t know if it is the picture color, but the winter moon fabric makes the floss not look so drab.

There’s a link in this post to the previous post and it shows a picture. Teresa Kogut likes everything very prim and I think the piece is supposed to look a bit drab.

I think the Legacy (the first picture) is the more appealing to me.

Absolutely love the first fabric! The floss is so pretty too. Can’t wait to see it come together for you.

I like the Legacy!

I like both, but if I were doing the project I would pick the Legacy. I think the floss looks good against it and I like the modeling.
