I am NOT going to be a commercial for Colorado Cross Stitcher but when I ordered yarn from The Loopy Ewe, I was always so happy with their service and prompt shipping and it’s exactly the same with CCS. For those who may not know, both are owned by Sheri. According to their archives, my first order with them was in 2009. Sheri has now started Colorado Cross Stitcher and, as expected, CCS has the same amazing service and prompt shipping.
On Monday I ordered Persimmon floss and a few other things – mostly floss. It is out for delivery today. I know we aren’t terribly far from Colorado but I’ve ordered from shops that are closer and it’s taken much longer to arrive. While the shops certainly cannot be responsible for the time it takes to arrive once they hand it off to the post office, Sheri is so good about shipping the same day the order is placed if there’s time to get it packaged and in the mail.
For anyone needing cross stitch supplies, I highly recommend Colorado Cross Stitcher.
Here’s where I am on it. Waiting for Persimmon floss to be delivered. Could I finish this today? Doubtful but I’ll bet I can by the end of the day tomorrow.

Looking good! What are the measurements for this piece? I placed an order with Sheri on the 24th, for some floss for my Halloween punch needle project. I guess California is a bit further for delivery. I like the layout of the website, its cleaner, less distractions and easy to use.

Your progress is looking good! I placed an order from her last week and was delighted with the service. I bought 4 patterns and she included a free needle minder. I will order from her again.

I heard on the news last night that the post office is warning people that shipping packages is going to take longer. They gave a reason but now I can’t remember what it was. They said if you are mailing a letter in the same city it will take about the same amount of time to be delivered but anything not in your immediate area will take longer.

Not much we can do about it but thanks for sharing that. Other than the cross stitching packages, we so rarely even get mail. Most everything is electronic. I think I’ve been using the same page of “Forever Stamps” for two or three years.
