It could be a gourd or a pumpkin but this little vine started growing about a month ago and it’s stretched about 10′ into the yard.

It has five or six fruits on it.

The man is here this morning to finalize plans for some work he’s going to do here and this plant is mid-center of one of our projects. I don’t want to kill it. I’m standing out there listening to what they’re going to do and getting sad about killing a plant.
Vince: Do you want the plant that probably is going to freeze before it produces anything or do you want your sitting area here?
Me: Can you wait to do this part last? (There are two other fairly major things he’s going to do.)
The Man: I would like to pour all the concrete for both projects at once.
Time to be an adult and say goodbye to whatever plant this is. 🙁

I have 2 volunteers in a place that gets NO water. We’ve had rain once in 75 days. They won’t mature to fresh produce but I’m with you! It is fun to watch them grow 🙂

Bloom looks like pumpkin.

Could you put it in a pot and let it finish growing?
