The borders all met up and matched and I’m happy. I finished that before I went to bed last night. The corners on the bottom need a couple of extra stitches which I’ll make as I pass around crossing the “x”. For borders, I make half stitches, even with overdyed floss, just to be sure everything is going to match up. It’s my stitching, not the designer, that concerns me. I always feel like it’s party time when my borders match . . though you can imagine how much partying goes on around here. 🙂
The fabric is 32 count Belfast Linen, color is Chalice, and I really like it. I was going to say . . but I always like all linens but that isn’t true. There are some I do not like. In fact, last night I tried to see if I could find more of this color. Nope . . couldn’t but some day I might.
The pumpkin is the largest part of this and at the bottom where I’d like to start so I’d love to get it done first but I’m still wondering about my orange floss. Looking at my two orange flosses, I don’t think I’m going to get the color variation with what I have here.
Maybe I’ll try it and see if it works. If not, I’ll just wait on getting Persimmon floss. Addie really wants this but I want it to be right.
Today I think I will fix the “x”s in the border, add the gold (the orange should be persimmon so that will have to wait), stitch the sun and moon and maybe the mouse.

I know nothing about cross stitch but from what I see in the chart you posted I think you need three oranges for the pumpkin or a variegated between the darker orange crescents. Just my thoughts on the pumpkin, otherwise looks like a wonderful project!!!!!!!!
