You know I’m busy when I’m not posting much. This morning I fixed ham, eggs, and low carb tortillas for breakfast. We had just finished eating when Chad, Nicole and Addie showed up. They had been to Joplin to shop at Aldi, go by the meat market, get breakfast in town. They visited for a while, got the old stove loaded up and left. I went out and cut okra, pulled tomatoes, came in cut all that up. I order the majority of my cleaning supplies from Sam’s Club and that was delivered today. Mr. Clean Freak (or something like that which was recommended by a reader, big bottles of Pine Sol, bathroom spray clorox type cleaner . . that kind of stuff. I divided it all up and put some of the bathroom cleaner things in each bathroom, put all the extra things in the storage room. Fixed lunch which was chicken salad served in avocado halves with cucumbers, tomatoes and a variety of cheeses. The chicken was leftover smoked chicken from Thursday (I think). By then Chad called and said Addie’s game was over and they’d meet me halfway so I could get her. She’s out of school Monday so I get to keep her til Nicole gets off Monday. I’ll take Addie all the way home since both of them are working. I can’t tell you how happy I am to be close enough to do these kinds of things.
Addie has a book she’s reading so she told me she may just sit in the recliner and read the rest of the night; Vince is downstairs watching football so I think I’ll get some cross stitching done.

Makes me happy to hear Addie would rather read a book. I am hoping great-granddaughter, Sadie, will be a reader. And her new sister, Sabrina. Neither my daughter or grandson are readers.
