It wasn’t long ago that I mentioned this magazine but last night, the electricity was blinking on and off during a storm and our internet had stopped working so I was going through my most recent Punch Needle & Primitive Stitcher magazine because it was downloaded onto my tablet. I LOVE that magazine.
I never want to talk anyone into buying something you don’t want but if you’re a cross stitcher or a punch needle . . what? Punch Needler? Puncher? OK . . if you like punch needle . . and if you like the type stitching I do, I think you’d find it a good investment. There are always four or five or more projects I want to make. I have the digital subscription so I download and save each issue to Dropbox.
You can find all the subscription info here. Most of the projects are fairly quick. Stitching with the Housewives usually has a project in there and I think some of their projects looked bigger than most. Vonna Pfeiffer has an article in each issue about finishing. Teresa Kogut almost always has one in there. I think it’s a bargain and I look so forward to each issue. I think there are four per year. I wish there were 12 but I understand why that cannot happen.
Anyway, every time I look at that magazine, I think . . I hope all my stitching friends know how great this magazine is!

That looks like a great magazine but since I don’t do punch needle (at this time) I’ll start checking out individual issues to see what cross stitch projects I might want to do. My mom did punch needle back in the late 60s-70s and I have a large piece she did. I even have her old needle but I think newer ones might have improved. I think about taking it up but I don’t need a new hobby! I have way too many things I want to do as it is…lol. I sometimes wonder how I can be related to my sisters as neither one does any craft type things…lol
