Mostly all we did yesterday was the tile but I’m so happy to have that done, or at least what’s behind the stove done.
I did stay up and finish the stitching on Harvest Tina tonight.
Additions:
I ordered a bowl from Hobby Lobby yesterday. I’ll do a blog post about that later today. That’s all I ordered. I was too busy being the tile man’s helper!
Cooking:
I made taco salad. I used the hot plate to cook the meat outside. Another blog post about the stove will follow.
Videos I Watched:
We had new Master Gardener videos to watch so I started watching those.
Stitching:
I already mentioned that I finished the stitching on Harvest Tina.
Plans for Today:
Stitch at least some on A Changed World. I may start another little Halloween pillow that can fit in the bowl I ordered from Hobby Lobby.
Vince is going to get more tile so we may end up installing more tile today.
That’s about it . . ughh . . I didn’t cut okra yesterday so I have to do it today. It’s so itchy – even with long sleeves on. I have a lightway sweatshirt that has the holes you stick your thumbs through and it covers your hands. I’ve been wearing that and I still itch after cutting okra and picking tomatoes.
I need to feed the sourdough but I’m not going to make bread today.
OK . . that’s it . . that’s enough for today . . and cook. Meal plan for this week will be posted later.

Love my garden, but when its time to harvest I pop a couple of antihistamine pills, wait an hour for them to kick in, put on a long sleeve shirt with button down cuffs and front, shoes and socks, long pants and still have to take a shower when I come in.

I have thought about that but half of an antihistamine puts me to sleep for two days – really. I always wear long sleeves, jeans, socks, shoes and have now been trying to keep my hands covered. I take a cool shower when I come in but still have hive and itching . . every time I cut okra or pick tomatoes. I only do it every other evening so at least it isn’t every day.

You need a pair of the old fashioned gloves that we used to wear to the prom back in the 60s! The ones that came up half way on the upper arm, and wear the sweatshirt over the gloves and that would be double protection for your arms.
