Mostly I stitched. I’ve been watering plants for a friend who’s been gone so I did that in the morning, heated up more leftovers for lunch – that was the end of the BBQ chicken, baked beans and mushroom orzo.
Vince stayed downstairs most of the afternoon watching football. At one point I made a pot of popcorn and took some down to him. That was nice of me. 🙂
Additions:
Friday I think it was I saw a post on Facebook about a Hands Across the Sea Sampler, Rose Ada Featherstone 1894, which will be an exclusive through Hobby House Needleworks in NY. The ony way I know to get to the link to order the chart/kit, is through this video. I’m not sure – there may be other ways to get there but I couldn’t figure it out.
I looked at it all through Friday evening and had decided not to get it but Saturday morning, I realized . . it’s “very limited” and if I don’t get it, I know I’ll wish I had so I ordered it.
If you order the chart, fabric and floss, you get a Rose Ada notebook (and I’m not sure what that is). And, if you order the full kit (chart, fabric and floss) by September 30, you’ll get a 10% discount.
I ordered 40 count Antique Lace fabric and 100.3 silk floss. I’ve never used 100.3, because it’s recommended for 40 count and above and 36 count is my preference but I wanted to try the 100.3 so that’s the combination I ordered.
The kits will be mailed out sometime in October – towards the end of the month I think I read.
Cooking:
Just heating up leftovers. I did take a package of ground meat out and I’ll make taco salad for our meal today.

Stitching:
I got a lot done on Harvest Tina. I took a picture of my progress night before last but there was so much missing that it looked weird. I think I’ll be able to get a good picture today and do a blog post about her. I won’t finish her today but I’ll get close.
Plans for Today:
I need to weed eat around the garden, cut up the okra I picked yesterday and get it on a freeze dryer tray in the freezer. The freeze dryer should finish up this afternoon so I’ll vacuum seal what’s in there, change the oil, let it defrost and be ready for the next load.
Hopefully lots of stitching. I want to make some progress on the flowers around the border of Harvest Tina. Tomorrow I have to put her aside and get back to A Changed World.

Looks like there’s a link to it from the website here. https://hobbyhouseneedleworks.com/pages/rose-ada-featherstone-1895
The notebook looks like a spiral top notebook.
Nice!

Thank you! I think it’s actually a notepad. The spiral top notebooks are probably the charts.
