This saga is about to come to an end . . I hope. I’ll believe it when I cook our first meal on the new stove. It’s at the appliance store so I feel confident it’s going to happen. In fact, Vince had to call the store this morning because the plumber wanted to know which side of the stove the gas line was on. Our salesmen went and looked at it. He physically looked at OUR gas stove! We passed the appliance store this afternoon and I asked Vince . . can we stop and look at it? I was joking and we didn’t.
Vince will put the drywall back over the hole for the gas line. The 220 plug stays so if the next people prefer electric, they can pull out the gas stove and stick an electric one in.
I told Vince this afternoon . . I was beginning to think this was never going to happen. He said “I didn’t tell you, but I was thinking the same thing.”
Three or four years ago, this wouldn’t have been nearly as crazy as it was but . . this is how things are these days. At least it’s finally happening.

So happy for you! Can’t wait to see what you cook first! Breakfast cooked in your cast iron maybe!!

Yay!! I guess some things are happening. Still waiting to hear about our dishwasher but we did get a call about our new windows. They were supposed to be installed next month (signed the contract in June!) but there was a two day opening next week so we should at least get the basement windows done! We were wondering if the windows would even get made so we’re feeling good about that!

YEA!! Good news. But you do know one thing gets repaired and something else goes wrong!

Hopefully since none of this was technically “repairs”, it won’t happen again but . . the a/c did have to get repaired a few weeks ago. Keeping our fingers crossed.
