I’ve had an amazing lot of stitching time today, thanks to the rain and not being able to plant the flowers and not needing to water the garden this evening and having leftovers for our meal and having Vince go to town this morning (and the day before and the day before and the day before!) and Vince is going to the Old Men’s Club meeting tonight so . . yes, lots of stitching time. I am so loving stitching Harvest Tina by Teresa Kogut. I can’t wait to get it finished and make it into a pillow.
This photo was taken earlier but I’ve now completed 10 rows of the plaid skirt which means I stitched 6 rows so far today. Six more rows and the skirt will be done!
The best news is this: With the Pattern Keeper app, for charts that weren’t designed and written to be used with PK, I can’t highlight just the color I’m working on and once I had marked the stitches as done, I couldn’t see what color was above where I was currently working so I kept getting confused.
Everything was solid so if I was stitching black, I needed to know I was stitching below pink so I printed off the chart and was using the paper copy.
This morning, I thought . . there has to be a setting I can change and sure enough, I found one.
I was able to change the setting to “translucent” so now, I can easily see the stitches I’ve made and know where I am and what color I used and what color I need to use next.
I should have a good five hours of uninterrupted stitching left today.
