Sunday a bug attached itself to one of the security cameras. I kept thinking it would leave but it didn’t so Vince got the ladder out yesterday and moved him. I guess Vince should have squished him but Vince didn’t want to mess up the camera (move it or get bug juice all over it).
That’s all we see . . a big, fat bug! It’s like a little kid standing in front of the TV with their arms out trying to block the screen. I wonder what attracts him to that particular camera and I wonder what we can do to keep him from coming back. Well, I know what to do to keep HIM from coming back but to keep others from coming back. I wonder if the camera is a little warm or if it makes just a little humming sound or vibration that attracts him. Weird.

My first thought was: Eek! there is a monster in your yard. (Monster bug that is.) That’s funny but definitely annoying.

Maybe a little grease or Vaseline around the outer edge of the lens? That way it doesn’t have a secure place to hold on to.

I don’t imagine Vince will do that. That one won’t be coming back but we’ll see if others do.

Is it bugging you, Judy?
Maybe some citrus oil? Some things don’t like the smell (Goo Gone or orange cleaner if you don’t have essential oil).
There’s a live cam I like to look at, but only in the daytime. At night, a spider web keeps showing up!
