I cut up six trays of okra. Filled the freeze dryer with four trays and stuck two trays in the freezer til this batch is done in the freeze dryer.
Got a haircut. Vince and I both got hair cuts today.
Made a grocery order. It was delivered and put away. It was the most groceries I think I’ve ever ordered simply because for several months, I’ve been getting just what we need and not replacing what we were using so our inventory needed to be boosted a bit. When Vince was here in November, we went to Sam’s and stocked up but I didn’t want to buy a lot til I saw what all came from Texas. With winter coming, I want to make sure we have everything we need or want. When there’s snow and ice on the ground, and we should not be going out, there’s always something we want and don’t have. I can’t have everything but I do my best. So, I stocked up on frozen veggies, butter, sweetened condense milk and cream cheese for holiday baking and candy making, pasta, canned tomatoes for marinara sauce and soup, etc. It was a lot to put away since it comes in upstairs and gets carried down to the basement and then it’s up and down the step stool to get a lot of it on the top shelf.
Additions:
No time for shopping today! 🙂
Cooking:
I had planned to cook but . . We took separate cars to get haircuts because it’s just down the road and Vince was going to go to town so he went first, got his hair cut. I got there before he was done, got mine cut and I came home.

Country Stitchers – A Tour of Liz’s Craft Room
Stitching:
Not much. Not even enough to take a picture with the changes.
Plans for Today:
As far as I know, there’s nothing happening today so I hope to get a lot of stitching done but I know . . I say that every day.

Good idea stocking up for winter. I have to do that soon because during treatment I’ve depleted things a little. We’d still be okay, most likely, but always good to restock.
