The Lady in Pink

The mystery has been solved.

This was taken at my uncle’s retirement celebration. He retired from several places and judging by my age and my dad’s age, this must have been when he retired from the school board. He taught high school for many years, then was a school principal, then went to work in the school board office and eventually became assistant school superintendent. He had a Ph.D. He got the brains in the family! 🙂

I honestly don’t even remembering that function but I’m guessing it was an evening thing and I left work and went straight there and got there early.

That also explains why my uncle has the picture.
