I think I already mentioned that Vince got the weather station hooked up .. yes, I did because the date and time wasn’t right but now it is.
Here’s what it looks like. I’m not sure if this is a temporary or permanent location. Doesn’t matter to me where it is .. just so it’s up. I was going to crop it and just show the outdoor part of the device but I love seeing Vince’s little shop back there. The buliding behind it is the neighbor’s shop.
If you go to Weather Underground, you can find real time weather conditions most anywhere in the country (maybe even the world . . I didn’t check). In Texas, if I took a screenshot of this much area, there might have been a dozen stations. Look how many are around here! Many of the small towns have one at their city hall or police stations. Vince said farmers probably pay closer attention to the weather and I think a lot of people here have them due to severe weather. But, more people in the same amount of space just means more weather stations I suppose.
Slowly but surely, we’re getting everything set up the way we want it.

Thanks for the link. I found a weather station within a few blocks of my house. There were several in my small town of 2500+.

Yes, “more people” was my first reaction.
