I’m not a fast stitcher and I have a lot of other things I do. Important things like . . well, let’s just talk about the not so important things like playing on the computer too much!
Anyway, here’s where I left off Monday night:
And here’s what I said my goals were for the rest of the week:
I’m thinking curvy row beneath the houses today; first two rows of text box on Wednesday, last two rows of text box on Thursday; text beneath the text box on Friday. That would be a huge accomplishment!
Yesterday my goal was to get the curvy row beneath the houses done. But, I didn’t realize there was a curvy row beneath the “grassy area” beneath the trees AND a curvy row beneath the houses.
Here’s what I got done yesterday:
- The curvy row beneath the grassy area
- Part of the grass in the front yard of the church. I needed to do that in order to get the placement right for the next curvy row.
- I started the curvy row beneath the houses.
I still think I can finish the curvy row and get two rows of stitching done in order to keep myself on track with my goals.

Looking good!! When I finished the center section I realized I still had that bottom curvy row but I decided to finish that when I move to the bottom section. I was impatient to start something new…lol. While working on the top section I realized how nice it is to have other parts of the design done in order to start the placement of some other parts.

And I can always breathe a sigh of relief when everything matches up and has a place. Especially with the bottom border done, I’d hate to get that far and realize things don’t fit.
