We had fun yesterday but hardly accomplished anything. Vince went to Home Depot early . . probably got there just as they were opening, then he had a few other stops to make. I pulled some weeds in the front beds til it got too hot to work.
I didn’t get the pineapple zucchini made. I must get that done today! The freeze dryer wasn’t finished last night. Should be finished within the hour. I’ll get that all vacuum sealed in jars and put away. Lots going on today.
Additions:
I was almost able to say that nothing was added but late last night someone posted on Facebook that 123Stitch had just added some R & R Linen so I went over there and grabbed a few pieces of that. Just before I checked out, I noticed the much awaited Christmas Ornament issue had been released so I ordered that also.
Cooking:
Another day of no cooking. We ate Mexican out for a late lunch and that’s all we ate. I think Vince fixed a sandwich or heated up pizza but I never ate anything else.
Videos I Watched:
No videos.
Stitching:
I got a bit done on A Changed World . . like one-third of a narrow row.
Plans for Today:
Definitely get the freeze dried food put up; make the zucchini pineapple.
Addie’s game is today.
After that, maybe I’ll have some cross stitching time.

I read every day but rarely post. But this morning I have to say enjoy your time After only 7 days of kindergarten my great granddaughter tested positive and her 16 month old sister also. Which means my grand daughter will miss work for the time they are contagious and 10 more days. We watch them so we are quarantined for 10 days (on day 2). Our daughter their nana picks the 5 year old up from school and brings her here, is off work for 10 days. The financial burden for my granddaughter and daughter is big. And although I love my quilting sewing and reading it feels different when you can’t go out. And then my husband who we worry the most about getting the virus is like Vince. He wakes up every morning with a list of places he needs to go to. He is climbing the walls after only 2 days. By the way all of the adults are vaccinated. Daughter and granddaughter tested negative our doctor suggested we wait for symptoms so we aren’t exposed at while testing. So after doing all we could to not get exposed for a year and a half boom a week of school has upended the whole family.

It is almost impossible not to get exposed when the kids are back in school and you’re in contact with them. I will add you all to my prayers and hope the kids have a mild case of it, hope the adults don’t catch it and since you’re all vaccinated, it should be mild if you do get it. It is a crazy world.
It is hard for those missing paychecks! I’m sorry this is happening to your family.
I know . . it’s crazy! I never want to leave the house . . til I HAVE to stay home.
