Yesterday wasn’t a crazy busy day. Mediacom was supposed to come between 8 and noon but there’s a guy who’s been here a couple of times and can’t seem to find a problem with our internet so Vince wanted them to send someone else. The same guy called before coming and Vince said NO! Send someone else. Well . . you guessed . . there is no one else BUT someone will be back from vacation tomorrow (which is today) so he’s supposed to be here between 8 and noon today. We’re paying for 1 GB and we’re getting 35 to 50 mbs and Vince isn’t real happy about that. He said . . fine, I’ll go down to the 100 mbs plan if all I’m going to get is 35 – 50. We’ll see how this all shakes out.
I had ordered new vacuum pump oil for the freeze dryer. I have more but it hasn’t been located yet and I’m out so I had it shipped to a hardware store here but it’s an area of Joplin I’m not familiar with so Vince is going to go with me. They called yesterday afternoon and said it was in and we could pick it up. We like to go early in the mornings because traffic in Joplin gets a bit crazy in the early afternoon and gets worse in the late afternoon so we’ll probably go later in the week and get that. I’ll leave the house again!
The new air fryer arrived yesterday. I didn’t really have anything to air fry! 🙁 I did have a toaster oven and a regular air fryer so with the Ninja Foodi Flip, I was able to move both of those out and put the new one there. Vince toasted a bagel last night for a sandwich but I haven’t even tried it out yet.
Additions:
Nothing was ordered today but my new Lowery frame should arrive Thursday.
Cooking:
No real cooking today. I heated up the salmon and scalloped potatoes (separately) in the old air fryer before the new one arrived, and heated up Eggplant Towers in the oven . . which I could have done in the air fryer too if I’d had the larger one.
Videos I Watched:
I watched a lot of videos but it was mostly about different vitamins and the role they play in protecting us from Covid.
I did finish watching Brenda and the Serial Starter, #57.
Stitching:
The rooster is done.
There are three more letters to get stitched. I think I’m going to exted the little top border over kinda in between the rooster’s head and tail, then make a few stitches past his head and come down the right side but not go across the bottom or left side with the border.
In between the letters and his bottom, I’m going to stitch my initials and over on the right of his legs, I’m going to stitch 2021 and then . . he will be done.
I was briefly tempted to put more of the little squares randomly placed in blank spots but . . no, too many stops and starts and even though I think they add a little bit to the overall design, they’re just not worth it for me.
Plans for Today:
Rooster is going into his bag til probably Monday. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, I’m working on A Changed World and nothing else!

That rooster may have been a pain to stitch, but he sure looks good now!

Hope you love your new toy!! I used mine to reheat a zucchini and onion pie and it kept the top crisp, just like it was yesterday when I made it.
