A blog reader friend sent me a gift and it arrived today. There was a chart that I had been looking at and wanting but had not mentioned wanting it. I tried to buy it once and it was out of stock, have had it on my wish list for a while so it’s nice to have it.
This is a book I would not have looked at because I generally don’t stitch flowers or just geometric designs (like fancy squares) but thumbing through it, I’ve seen at least half a dozen charts I would love to stitch and all of them are fairly small so they will be easy to find places to display them.
The first thing I’d love to stitch . . the house on the middle row, left side. It’s called Queen Anne House. I want to stitch that and put my friend’s initials (the one who sent this), my initials and the year on it. The friend lives in England so I think stitching Queen Anne’s House, with her initials would be appropriate and it will always remind me of Christina!
You can guess that the little sampler at the bottom left of the cover also is wanting to be stitched!
I’m so glad I started cross stitching again. That’s something I never thought would happen. Didn’t think it wouldn’t happen – just never thought anything about it at all.
