Talk about negative progress! I was working on A Changed World, spread it out to look at it and . . wait!
The little mountains or chevrons, whatever you call them in the border . . they’re all 5 stitches up and 5 stitches down except somehow, I made the bottom 4 stitches up and 4 stitches down. How can you make three borders correct and the fourth border wrong? Don’t answer that!
I will rip it all out and I will stitch that entire border correctly before I go to bed and I would like to make a few stitches of something besides black before putting this down for the night but . . late night stitching may be part of the reason I made this mistake so I’ll see how alert I’m feeling when I finish stitching this border.

Rats! I hate that when it happens. I was working on a different design but it had similar chevrons and I did the same thing – made last three (thank goodness only 3) one stitch shorter.

I have been ripping also. I have never worked on 16 cnt Aida! I am using Week Dye Works. When I start ripping the thread starts breaking apart! I may have to order more thread! Lolo

I usually don’t try to re-use thread that’s been ripped and yes, I did order more black. 🙁
Good luck. Hope you and I are both getting the ripping over with early in this project.
