I did finish the border stitching this morning. A local cross stitch friend had entered . . 6 or 8 or more of her pieces in the Ozark Fair and won several ribbons. They picked them up recently and she asked me if I wanted to come over and see them and I did so I went over there this morning, visited with them for a while, then came home and got the meatballs baked and the spaghetti sauce simmering. We’ll have that tonight.
I would so love to take a nap this afternoon but doubt that happens since I need to get some stitching done.
In other words . . I haven’t really done anything productive today and . . why start now? I should probably just take the nap and quit fighting the urge.
Ruth says
When the urge to nap hits me, I know I’m not going to be any good at any task, so I head off to bed.
Judy Laquidara says
That’s exactly how I am so I sit here wasting time, when I should just go take the nap and get it over with.
