The whole situation of yesterday wasn’t funny but when I went to bed last night, I started laughing. I was watching the cameras way more than normal and there was a sparkly thread hanging in front of one of them and it was blowing in the breeze. I checked the camera again about 20 minutes later and this is what was there.
About 5 minutes later, it looked like this.
Each camera has a light and when I turned the light on, this is what it looked like.
When Vince came upstairs, I told him we had to go out and clean it because we couldn’t even see his pickup because of the spider web but it was gone. That was crazy. Poor spider put a lot of work into that web so I’m glad we didn’t have to be the bad guys who removed it.
Something seems wrong when I was so entertained watching a spider build a web and then, as much as I dislike spiders, I was sad all that effort was wasted.

If only you could stitch as fas as that spider spins!

There are some spiders, an orb weaver spider is one, that builds its web in the evening/night and then cleans it all up by eating it before morning’s light. Orb spiders can be identified by their characteristic perfectly formed Halloween-looking web. Check out. https://www.orkin.com/other/spiders/orb-weaver-spiders

I didn’t know that about them cleaning up their own webs. Thanks!
