Since I moved all the cross stitching fabric and floss collection to the closet in my sewing room, I was a bit concerned about moths. I don’t even know if they get into that kind of stuff but it would be disheartening to find bugs in it. I asked Chad the other day if, the next time he cuts cedar, he would save me some of the chunks that he cuts off so I could put it in my closet. I just wanted little pieces that he would throw away and I was going to put them in a bowl.
When I went to get Addie yesterday, he handed me these.
I told him that was great but I was expecting that when he vacuumed the waste off the floor, the bigger chunks of that would have worked. I didn’t need anything fancy or pretty.
Ask and ye shall receive, right? I might put these around on the shelves or I might get Vince to drill some holes (or if I had my own Dremmel, I could do it myself!) and hang them with pieces of twine from the shelves.
Chad can be so helpful so long as I don’t ask for too much. 🙂

When does your own dremmel tool arrive? I presume you have already ordered it…those plank squares of cedar must smell so nice!!

I have not because Vince said he has several “somewhere” and one has never been opened so . . I wait.

-Those are large enough to sand (to release oils) year after year! A gift that lasts.
