My cross stitch plan has been in effect for two days. Monday went pretty much according to the plan.
Tuesday, I learned a few lessons.
- I didn’t really learn this yesterday but life goes on! I could cross stitch about 20 hours a day most days because there’s usually not much going on around here. Yesterday that was not the case. First, after Vince dug out the weeds and leveled up the ground, I planted the artichokes. From there we walked around and decided where to plant lilacs, peonies and rhubarb. Then we pulled a few weeds. Then I was hot and tired! Second, the internet guy came and worked on our internet. There’s a connection behind my stitching chair and he wanted to check that out so I had to move my little cabinet, move my lamp, move the charts and floss (minefield as Vince calls it). Third, the DMC organization and that really took a couple of hours. Fourth, three different sets of visitors in the evening. That’s all ok. Fifth, I had groceries delivered that had to be put away and sixth, I had to make food for Rita. It was a fun day but squeezing in 7 hours of cross stitching didn’t happen. I did stitch for five hours.
- I need to plan my day a little better. I can easily cross stitch three hours early in the morning before other things start happening and I can stitch four hours later in the evening after things slow down but I have to make good use of the hours I’m not cross stitching.
- I need to stay off Etsy! 🙂
I don’t think we have a lot going on today but I’m always open for fun surprises. 🙂

You stitched for five hours anyway, so great! And you got so much else done!
