Here’s my morning progress for A Changed World.
Not much but I’m so happy to be working on it. I’m going to continue working on it for another hour or so and then I’ll stop and fix our meal for the day. It’s just leftovers but I’m making the eggplant parmesan towers again so that will take a few minutes. Otherwise, dinner will be fast and I’ll be back to stitching.

I am going to slowly work on A Changed World. I prepped yesterday and started on a border. I’m having to use 3X readers to work on 36 count linen so I didn’t get much done because of the headache. Will post pictures on Facebook later. Today, I worked at the hospital and will not stitch tonight due to chores. It may be a changed world but not chore wise.

You’re right – chores continue and now that we aren’t eating out at all, that means more cooking, more washing dishes, etc. Work at your own pace – there’s no deadline. Glad you’re doing it with us.

Thank you and I’ve been a lurker for years.
Judy Laquidara says
About time you spoke up! 🙂
Seriously, thanks for the comment.

I started in the left hand lower corner too, a departure from my usual center start. I didn’t want to waste any more linen than necessary, it is a pretty color, baked clay.
Judy Laquidara says
Have you used Fox & Rabbit linen before?
Tracy says
No, first time. After stitching on it Sunday and Monday, I am finding the weave to be a little “looser” than the Weeks linen. I feel like I need to adjust my tension of the stitches to be a little looser too. I find that I can’t stitch from the front only, as the thread doesn’t stay in the corners. I am using one strand of DMC. I am assuming its all in my head, but maybe they use different base linen? Does the dye used effect the linen drape or feel? Or the weave is dependent on the quality of the flax used? Sort of like cotton fabric bases, Batik verses broad cloth. I’m guessing here though.

I wish that I was joining you but I am still waiting for my order. They said it would be 4-6 weeks so I have at least 2 weeks to go yet.
Judy Laquidara says
Hopefully it will surprise you and arrive early.
Val says
I hope so as well Judy, I am eager to start.
