Halloween is my least favorite holiday. People who know me personally would laugh because I rarely decorate for any holiday except a little for Christmas. I hate putting stuff away so getting it out just reminds me that I have to put it away.
I know I said I wouldn’t . . but I did! I said I wasn’t going to buy any more charts but I did but . . it’s only things I love but . . (lots of buts in this sentence!) I seem to love almost everything. I’ll do a different post with the other charts I’ve added this week.
This one . . I love it. It’s stitched on Murky linen and I love Murky. I bought several pieces because every time I’d see it, I was reminded how much I love it. I need to go dig through my 36 count tub and hope I have a piece of 36 count Murky. I bet I do.
My August stitching list is full but I’m adding this to September. It will not be finished before Halloween and even if it was, it wouldn’t be framed but there’s always year.
It’s Halloween Quaker by Lila’s Studio. It’s out of stock at 123 Stitch but they get things in quickly and other places have it in stock I’m sure . . somewhere.
Also, I’m in Teresa Kogut’s patreon group and she released the August pieces early. They’re all three Halloween and I love them! I think one of them for sure is going onto the October list. I never know if I’m supposed to show the Patreon things so for now, I won’t. Maybe when I start stitching it, I will. I think I asked her if it was ok. Whatever I asked her, she said yes but I’m not sure what I asked her! 🙂

Hey it’s only money and you can’t take it with you! And just like your quilts, these will be treasured keepsakes long after you are gone! Do what you love!

Right but I surely don’t want to be the cause of us running out of money before our time here is up! 🙂

I love that one! I also hate putting stuff away so getting it out just reminds me that I have to put it away. I’ve left Christmas stuff up for months just cause I didn’t want to put it away. Once my kids are grown, I doubt I will ever decorate for a holiday again.

I didn’t decorate at all in Texas. We had no place to put a tree and anything I took down had to go out into the shop and then no matter how much I wrapped it, bugs or mice would get into it and it all had to be cleaned up and sanitized before coming back into the house so I gave up but I’m hoping to decorate more here. It seems fun again but I won’t go overboard because . . it all has to be put away!
