EDIT: I never know what day it is. I would have sworn today was Saturday and tomorrow was . . well, I’m not even going to say it and risk confusing anyone else (or further confusing myself.)
I am NOT starting A Changed world tomorrow. I’m starting on August 1 . . whenever that is! 🙂
Don’t forget that tomorrow Denise, Jo and I will begin our stitch along for A Changed World. Anyone who wants to participate is welcome. There is no deadline. We’ll all work at our own pace. Jo, Denise and I will be doing weekly (Friday) blog posts about our progress though I’ll probably post more often and they may too.
The chart can be purchased through 123Stitch or Kitten Stitcher.
I’ve added a widget on the right sidebar that has links to Denise and Jo’s blogs and that will make it easy to follow along with us.
I cannot wait to get started!!

I’m so excited! I have everything I need but just need to decide if I want to use a larger piece of cloth for the project. The calculator suggested a larger piece for a 2″ border but looking at my previous projects I didn’t do that so I may go with the smaller piece. I was hoping to have finished my current project but guess I’ll have 2 going….lol.

Two going is not bad. The calculator I use by default adds a 1″ “border” and 2″ around the edges for lacing or whatever. That would be 3″ from the stitching. Since I do my own framing, I’m pretty good with 2″ or 2-1/2″ on all sides. That gives me plenty for the border and rabbet on the frame, and anything much more than 1″ for lacing is kinda in my way. Just be sure your fabric is cut straight on the grain because if you lose even 1/4″ on the top left and 1/4″ on the bottom right because of fabric cut crooked (and it almost always is a little crooked), that can make a difference.

Are you starting early? Today is 7/30, Tomorrow is 7/31, Sunday is 8/1. Or just confused about what day is, like I am most days.

Oh, great . . I didn’t know what day it was. I just had to ask Vince because . . not that I don’t trust you but I would have sworn today was Saturday. I’ll go fix it. Thanks. Y’all really have to watch out for me and don’t ever believe anything I tell you! 🙂

Thank you! I get up every morning and the first thing I do is decide what day of the week it is. Within an hour, I’m second guessing myself and checking the phone and by mid-afternoon, I’m putting the wrong day in the blog.
