So far, I haven’t taken a single stitch today and it’s 9:30 p.m. The morning was spent in the kitchen, then I took a nap, then I showered and got dressed – makeup and all! A friend came over and visited for a while, then we went to a friend’s for dinner.
It was a very enjoyable afternoon and evening. Do you get tired of reading how happy I am that we moved here? 🙂
This morning I was putting away all the Sulky thread that I had used in the Veterans’ Day piece and there was another spool of 1147, the red I’m using for the redwork piece, so I can keep stitching even if the new spool doesn’t arrive tomorrow. I don’t know how I ended up with two spools but I’m thankful I had that extra one. I must have ordered a spool for a project (maybe this project), then got the whole Sulky set. Whatever . . it worked out nicely for me.
Not a chance I’ll finish this piece tonight but I’m going to work on it some before I go to bed.

I will NEVER tire of hearing about the joy in your life ??? However, all your cooking exhausts me ? (which may be because I’m recovering from a knee replacement done 2 weeks ago!)

Oh, my goodness! If I ever have to have joint replacement, I’ll probably be the person you read about who sat in her chair without getting up for 6 months and they found her later (and the outcome was NOT good!). Just thinking about people having that done makes me kinda sick but I know it’s a good thing for those who need it – just not for wimps like me.
Good luck in your recovery. I really miss cooking and had done so little while I was feeling bad so it was a treat for me to feel like spending the day in the kitchen.
