Do you ever look back at the day and wonder what the heck you did all day? That happens to me so often. Yesterday was our day to have breakfast (bacon, eggs, grits, biscuits) and then have leftovers for dinner. I’ve kinda put my foot down and said “I’m cooking one meal per day!” There are always leftovers, sandwich stuff, food in the freezer.
I fixed breakfast, cleaned up the mess and other than taking the bananas out of the freeze dryer, changing the oil in the pump putting the bananas in 17 pint jars and vaccum sealing those, and a bit of cross stitching, I didn’t do anything else of consequence.
I went out to check on the dirt work several days. One of our neighbors walked over to see the dirt work, then wanted Vince to come see something at his house so we walked over there and visited a while. That all sounds like something that should have taken two hours and that’s all I can think of that I did yesterday!
What I think I’m trying to say is that I should have gotten a whole lot more cross stitching done than I got done. I did talk to my mom a couple of times, my dad once, Nicole once and chatted with Chad a bit on the computer so add another few minutes to what I can account for. I’ll do better today.
What you see on the left border and most of the top border . . that was already done. What I stitched yesterday was maybe two of the swirls at the top and 8-1/2 of the motifs in the right side border.
I still have 8 motifs in the left border, 7-1/2 in the right boder, the entire bottom border and two motifs that aren’t real tiny to do between the bottom row of the letters and the bottom border.
It’s safe to assume this isn’t going to be finished today and if I don’t stitch faster, it isn’t going to be done Thursday either!
