Yesterday Chad and Nicole came and got Addie, took her to play mini-golf, to eat out and then brought her back. They stayed for a while but left way before dark. I felt better (no fever!) and I stayed awake all day. Once I went to take a nap probably just after noon and the doorbell rang. Addie came into the bedroom and told me Jeremy and Angie were here. They knew I was not feeling well so I knew they wouldn’t come inside. Vince went outside and talked to them for a while. When Addie told me it was them, I said “NO! Other people come here besides Jeremy and Angie!” Addie said “I saw them. It’s really them.” They actually came by to bring something and it’s a good thing because the eaves (maybe) have electric plugs because Jeremy and Angie put up a massive Christmas light display. They even left all the lights and the plans. They had a company they paid to put it all up and take it down. I doubt we ever do it but I think there are about 25 electric outlets in the eaves around the house so Vince was able to plug in the cameras without having to run cords or wiring. The cameras also come with battery backup. Jeremy looked up and said to Vince “You know there’s a switch in the garage by where I had my work bench that turns on those electric outlets.” Nope. Didn’t know that. So the cameras were running off the batteries. I’m not sure if it’s real batteries or solar but anyway . . got that resolved.
Jeremy and Angie were backing out of the driveway when Chad and Nicole drove up. Addie (none of us) knew they were coming so Addie ran back in the bedroom saying “Mom and Dad are here!” so . . there was no nap for me but I’m glad . . it’s been over a week since I didn’t sleep at least part of the day.
Look how nice this is coming along!
I have a lot to do but I think I can get a good bit more done before I leave for Louisiana. I think I’m going to make the flag in the text box a little longer. It looks too short there to me.
Today I would like to get the rest of the building finished and get the topiaries finished.
Tuesday I would like to get the big pots for the toparies stitched.
It won’t be finished by the time I take it with me but it will be close.

Completely unrelated to your post….but I need some information please. I have to replace my laptop and remembered you just got a new Chromebook Can you aim me toward the one you got? I would be running EQ8 and a few embroidery (machine type) programs. Basic communication with the kids and some social media . I would love a touch screen but it’s not necessary. I would go into Best Buy, but truthfully they confuse me and then I buy something, anything just to escape!

I think, unless things have changed, you cannot run EQ on a Chromebook. I’ll have to get Vince to give me the info on the Chromebook I have. I’m not seeing it on the computer. I’ll send you an email with that info.
