The Name is Done

It worked out just as I had planned. Someone asked in a comment if I was centering the name in the text box. I did not because on I would have had about 7 squares on either side, which would have been fine, but for the next row, I’m putting his date of birth and date of death. That will be a very short row so I started the name row about four spaces from the left edge of the text box and started the numbers just under the name. That will leave me room at the end of the numbers row to put a motif – probably a flag but I haven’t decided yet.

I’ll finish the numbers today, decide on a motif, stitch that, stitch the “Some Gave All”, finish the text box outline, then work on the fill in. I should be able to get all that done today except for maybe not complete all the fill in . . or maybe not all the verse or maybe not all the numbers. You know how things go around here. 🙂
