This is truly the easiest, most refreshing thing ever! We all love pineapple and I remember getting these at DisneyWorld many years ago but I had never tried making them. Here’s the recipe I loosely followed. Since I never measure anything, you can take my method with a grain of salt. Believe me, I’ve made enough milk shakes in my lifetime that I can do it without measuring.
I scooped out enough ice cream into the blender . . you can always add more ice cream or more of the liquid to make it right. I dumped in about half the bag of frozen pineapple. Here’s where I did things a bit differently. I had frozen concentrated pineapple juice so instead of making it up with water in a pitcher, I just scooped some of it into the blender and added water til I got the consistency I wanted in the pineapple whip mixture. Then we all squirted the “whipped cream” on top.
Vince said that’s about he most refreshing thing he’s had in a long time. I find that having about 1/2 cup of it is sufficient – satisfies my desire for something sweet and that’s about enough to make us feel refreshed on a hot summer day.

We had them at Disney last fall. I did not know that I could purchase frozen pineapple concentrate. Thanks

I get it at Walmart with the other frozen juice concentrate.

And the pineapple should help with your allergies!! So that makes it healthy right??

That’s what I’m telling myself! 🙂
