Yesterday after keeping the little boy for the morning, I was worn out. I had planned to come home and take a nap but then we went to town and one thing after another was going on so I never got my nap. Once I started cross stitching late in the afternoon, I knew there wasn’t going to be a nap but I didn’t get much done in the house yesterday.
Getting the kitchen nice and clean is a priority this morning since the fridge repairman will be here around 10 a.m. Don’t want him to think we’re total pigs.
I started sourdough English muffins Sunday and stuck them in the fridge, meaning to finish them yesterday so that has to be done this morning.
There’s a big package of stew meat defrosting in the fridge and I want to get that started. I wanted it to be a really good stew but still haven’t decided on a recipe so I need to get that done this morning since I think I’ll cook it in the slow cooker.
Laundry has to be done but . . how much trouble is that? I don’t mind doing it so long as I quickly put clothes in the dryer then fold and put them away and don’t spend the day telling myself I need to put them in the dryer and then I need to fold them.
Chances of rain are less than they have been and less than they will be tomorrow so if the blueberry farm is open this afternoon, we’ll go pick blueberries. We had enough rain last night that my guess is they aren’t going to be open today. That’s ok . . I have plenty to keep me busy today.
