There was a time when I had a three stop limit. There’s so much to do around here and so many things we need that my limit is being ignored but I can’t complain.
We left the house at 7:30 this morning and got back just a bit after 2.
First Stop: Blueberries Farm. We picked blueberries for 2-1/2 hours and picked about 1-1/2 gallons. We didn’t realize how tired we were til we sat down in the car.
Second Stop: Fox Farm. Vince loves the Japanese mayo we get from there and he wanted to get more. We picked up a few more things. That’s a fun store.
Third Stop: Tuesday Morning. It’s right next to Fox Farm and I wanted to see if they had baskets I could use for my cross stitching (and they did).
Fourth Stop: Pho Saigon. We were headed a bit ice’ down the road to a Thai restaurant but saw Pho Saigon and went there. It was good.
Fifth Stop: The Bank. Vince needed a cashier’s check so he stopped and got that.
Sixth Stop: Flea Market. Chad had seen an “embroidery frame” at a flea market the other day and I wanted to check it out but we couldn’t find it. I did find a bread bowl that wasn’t outrageously expensive. Vince said “I can make that!” Right . . he has enough to do without making me a bread bowl. I found another one that was really small and since I have nothing stitched to display in the bread bowl, I figured the small one would do for now.
I also found this cool perch cast iron cornbread pan and got that.
Seventh Stop: Babe’s to get a shake.
Eighth Stop: Appliance store to check on appliances.
Ninth Stop: Post Office to mail the cashier’s check.
We had planned to stop by Walmart but there was no way that was happening today. Hopefully we can put that off for a few days.
I’m glad to be home!

Oh my goodness, it made me tired just reading your post!

We’re too old for this much running around.

He likes that Japanese mayo because it has MSG in it. Check the label. I get headaches from MSG, but not all people do. My husband likes it too.

Vince is usually very careful about not eating MSG because it does affect him. I bought it when I was here alone and the outer wrapper is the only one that has the ingredients listed so when Vince got here, he tried it and didn’t know it had MSG in it. He didn’t have a problem and it was only when he was looking at it online that he saw it had MSG. He only uses it on certain kinds of sandwiches. He’s not a mayo fan anyway so I bet he doesn’t eat 1/2 tsp. once a week so that may be why it isn’t bothering him . . vs. going to a restaurant and eating an entire dish that has MSG in it.
MSG has never bothered me. I don’t use it in salad dressings – only on sandwiches. Vince is aware that the mayo has MSG but thank you for pointing that out in case we didn’t know.

I just love that cast iron fish cornbread pan! I will have to look for one when I’m out doing the flea markets.
Judy Laquidara says
Before I bought the one today I checked ebay. There were several on there and the price was about the same as the one in the flea market. Shpping would probably be high though but I’m saying they seem to be pretty common so I hope you can find one.

I was just looking at Amazon for cast iron cornbread pans and along with those was a cast iron Texas pan. Of course, I thought of you and Vince, even though you now live in Mo.
Judy Laquidara says
Too bad I never saw that when I lived in Texas!
