The “A House Is . . ” chart is from Stitches Through the Years. I love the colors, though I changed a few and if you want to stitch it and want to see the changes I’ve made, click on the “Projects 2021” tab above and you’ll find them there.
This was a bit of a late night washed out photo but I did get all the letters finished. I’m working on the tree growing out of the urn and then I think there are just flowers, a small bird and something over the top of the house. I’m not even sure what that is – hard to tell when it’s just the symbols for the colors and I’m not looking at the color picture.
Yesterday I wanted to get 300 stitches made. I did 301. That’s not bad considering I took a nap (first things first!), fertilized the garden and hanging baskets, deadheaded the rose bush and hanging baskets and did a bit of cooking.
I wish all the charts I have were pdfs so I could count my stitches easily.

Have you tried scanning your paper charts as jpg and bringing them into pattern keeper that way? I have done some as pdf and some as jpg and seem to have better luck with the jpg. It takes a little work and you don’t get the color key, but you can track your stitched.

I have tried it and haven’t had any that worked well enough that I felt like it was worth the trouble.

It does take a little work, but if you stick with you can get just about any pattern to work. I did find that on multiple page charts I just do them one page at a time and that works better for me.

Thanks. I was wondering if that was the best way to do it.
