It’s been just a little over two months since we ordered it. They said two to four months, which probably means six months. I’ll start to become impatient after the first of the year if I don’t have it.
I had not used the griddle since Texas so whatever builds up on the bottom from using the gas stove always makes a mess the first few times I use it on the glass top stove.
After the bacon was cooked, it was time to cook blueberry pancakes and Addie requested chocolate chips to be added to her pancakes so, of course, that happened.
This is the mess I was left with!
A little elbow grease and it was almost good as new. By the time we ate, the stove cooled down, I cleaned it . . it was almost time to start our next meal.
I will be so happy to get the gas stove. I wish we had ordered it when we first bought the house in August. Surely it would have been here by now. Live and learn!

I’ve been putting off buying a new washing machine. The one I have is not working consistently, I have to reset it (unplug it for a while) more and more. Of course it is out of warranty, and I have spent way too much time and money trying to repair it. Anyway, I’m going to order a new one today, they told me 6 to 8 weeks last time I checked.

Good luck. I don’t know if it’s just the appliance store here or if it’s based on the info they’re getting but their estimated arrival dates have been way off for most I’ve talked to.

I’ve had glass cooktops since 1978 (Jenn Aire cartrides) gas was not an option. The best cleaner by far has been aerosol oven cleaner. No elbow grease required.

I’m not a fan of oven cleaners. I use Barkeeper’s Friend and it doesn’t take much scrubbing.
