This morning we (again, mostly Vince but I did help) hung the welded wire fence panels that we’ll use for the wisteria to climb on.
Knowing how we operate, there will probably always be things stored under the panels so eventually, we’ll probably plant some low hedges on the other side so neighbors don’t have to look at whatever we have under there. Before planting anything else, we need to get some of the things we’ve planted past the stage where they need so much water. At the present time, we have 20 trees, along with the two wisteria, the garden and about 25 plants still in containers that need watering. We water the trees and wisteria every other day and the garden/plants in containers every day. That’s a lot of time . . plus, we’re having to pay for water which we weren’t having to do in Texas but . . we aren’t in Texas any more so we do what we have to do.
Soon we’ll have gorgeous purple blossoms blocking the view of the underneath side of the solar panels.

Confederate Jasmine is also a great cover and is evergreen. It fills in quickly and when it’s blooming it has a divine fragrance. I have Red Cascade roses mixed in with mine. Red Cascade is a no-care miniature climber.

I love Confederate Jasmine but I don’t think it’s hardy for this area.
