It’s very likely we’ll never unpack every single box in this house. I would love it if we did but . . I just don’t know. Today when I went down to sew, I did a little upacking and putting things away. It’s not fun to work in the room when it looks like it does now. After dinner, I went down there and unpacked six boxes. That made a noticeable difference.
We need to get the plumber out here to run the gas line so when the new stove arrives, there’s no delay in getting it hooked up. The plumber will bring the gas line through the sewing room ceiling across the basement family room ceiling, into the basement garage and over to the kitchen. That probably makes no sense because you don’t know the layout of the house but the sewing room has to have a decent size path for the plumber to get around.
We’re also going to put the ventless propane heater in the basement garage and if there’s ever an extended time without power, that should keep the pipes from freezing so he’ll have to run a gas line down to the wall in the garage.
We still don’t have the longarm hooked up. I need to get things put away around it so Vince can walk without breaking his neck.
So, so much stuff .. way too much stuff! A lot of junk but a lot of treasures too. But at least I made a small dent in it today.

Progress! Are you finding much that should haven’t made the move? Any guesses on how many boxes left to go?
Judy Laquidara says
No guesses. A whole lot is in storage but I think most of that will go into Vince’s shop but he said some of it is house stuff. It seems like a lot of boxes but considering how many we’ve unpacked, it really isn’t bad – at least what’s in the house.

Did you see Jo Krammer’s recent blog auction? That’s a great way to get rid of objects in good shape that no longer interest you. I like the idea of something going to someone that will actually use it. The auction itself sounds like a lot of tedious work but maybe that is something Vince would like handling??
Judy Laquidara says
Definitely not something I’m interested in doing at this time, especially with the horrible USPS service many of us seem to be dealing with these days.
