I’ve seen this project stitched a couple of times but wasn’t sure how to find it. The other day a lady in one of the Facebook groups showed it stitched so I asked her about the chart and was able to order it from Cecilia’s Samplers in Branson.
I can’t wait to get started stitching on this. Of course, there are about 100 things I can’t wait to get started stitching.
This one came in a “kit” but without fabric or floss. It has a nice little box for keeping everything together, an extra Thanksgiving chart, a book plate type sticker to put on the back of the frame with info, a card showing William Bradford and a story about him, a small piece of fabric with a page from his journal copied onto it, a floss card and a pilgrim needle minder.
There may have been another thing or two that I’m not remembering.
I have to put this away. I cannot start stitching on it while doing Cross Stitch Camp but I do love it.

That is a lovely chart – and a lovely kit. But ouch! The price! I would love to do this if I could trace my roots back to any one of them. But you have to admire their courage for what they did!

Definitely admire the courage!

How can something be listed as a kit if it doesn’t contain the two biggest parts of the sampler? In my mind, a kit includes the fabric AND the floss. I would be very disappointed if I ordered a kit and didn’t receive the two biggest parts of the item – especially if I’d not read through the description as well as I should have and just saw “kit”….I’d be kicking myself for sure.

I knew it didn’t contain the fabric and floss before I ordered it. There are often kits with just the floss and no fabric or the fabric and no floss.
