Several readers mentioned the Southern Living Annual cookbooks from years ago. I loved them and collected many of them. I didn’t keep them all but I kept some and there was no rhyme or reason to which ones I kept. So far, I haven’t unpacked any here so I’m hoping at least a few made the move.
I can remember as it was getting close to the holidays, I’d spend hours going through this book and trying recipes. I worked so I loved bringing cookies, browies and different types of bars to work during the holidays.
It’s always fun to come across books like this that I haven’t looked at in years. Of course, the downside is that I want to bake and if I bake, we eat unhealthy foods and . . well, you know how that story goes. I’ll probably keep this book and always look forward to going through it during the holidays.
Finding things like this is what makes unpacking fun.

You could bake goodies and give them to your neighbors or delivery people.

Bon, it’s doubtful that they’d ALL get to others! 😛 Fresh out of the oven cookies are so good!

One for each of you and the rest, give away. Problem solved. Easier said than done. BTW, I had one of those donuts today. I thought of you when eating it.
