It seems like a lifetime ago that Boots was being so weird and biting and I was kinda afraid of him.
Does he look scary?
He has the run of the house til he jumps over the fence and goes into the kitchen, then he gets scolded and goes back to the sewing room. No cats in the kitchen!!
Vince had just walked by him and didn’t stop to pet him. It was like Boots was saying “Hey . . what about me?” From the underneath side, he looks kinda like a skunk!
He later went over and sat with Vince but I was trying to get a picture and he was fixing to jump down so Vince was holding him. Vince said “He’s such a sweet boy” and I said “Hard to believe he was being so difficult just a few months ago!” Glad we have our loving kitty back.
Vince really is going to look different after he gets a haircut this week. He’s had several haircuts during Covid but it’s been a couple of months and he won’t let me cut it. I offered!

Years ago we had a cat that had some health problems and we wanted to restrict her area so we put a old fashion wooden screen door in at the hallway to keep her in that part of the house. Kept her contained while allowing air flow.

The opening where Boots jumps the “fence” and goes into the kitchen is 8′ wide.
