Boots has been so sweet. No biting in probably two weeks or more. The last time he bit me was more like the way he used to bite me when we were still in Texas, when he had been social as long as he could and was ready to get rid of me. Tonight he was stretched out on my legs while I was stitching.
That’s where he always starts out. Then, he needs to be closer .. and closer, til he’s right up in my face.
I’m not complaining that I can’t stitch when he’s in this position. I’m so happy he’s back to purring and being sweet and snuggly. I wish I knew what had been wrong with him because I never want to go through that again.

He is such a great cat. He has a good personality and sometimes he acts like a dog. He’ll follow me around, and when I call him, he sometimes comes to me but otherwise . . he’s a cat and totally ignores me most of the time. I really do love him.

He is happy that all his family is where they should be

I think you’re right!

I’m glad Boots is back to his old self. And yes, it would be nice to know what set him off those months he was not so nice. I suspect the thought that he was upset that not all his people were in one spot is right.
Dottie Newkirk says
So happy that he is back to his sweet self.
Nelle Coursey says
I think he is just glad both you and Vince are there with him. He may have just been upset because Vince was gone so long!
Judy Laquidara says
I think that may be it.
