Almost every weekend I pick Addie up on Friday, then Chad and Nicole come to our house on Sunday afternoon, we have dinner together and they take her home. About once a month or so, they want to keep her for the weekend. Last weekend, they wanted to keep her. This weekend with it being Mother’s Day, I wasn’t sure but Nicole has to work on Sunday so they are fine with her coming here.
While we were in Texas, I had learned to live with seeing her once every three or four months. Now, when I miss a weekend with her, I feel like it’s been forever since I saw her so I’ll be happy to get to pick her up today.
These pictures were taken at a park this week where they had gone to spend some time after school.
She is growing so quickly!
After I pick her up today, we’ll run by a nursery/gift shop there and let her pick out something for her mom for Mother’s Day, then we’ll come back here and we’ll have her til Sunday. It isn’t going to be long til she’s going to want to stay home and do things with friends so I enjoy every minute I can spend with her.

You might be surprised. I spent every minute I could at my grandparents until I went away to college.
