Teresa Kogut is one of my favorite designers. I haven’t even finished anything of hers yet but I do have a lot of her charts. In fact, she’s the only person I’ve ever paid to be a member of her Patreon group. Not only do I love her designs but I think she’s a neat person, though I’ve never met her.
Of course, my photo doesn’t do it justice.
One of the free charts for Patreon members for May is one entitled Let Love Reign. When I saw that chart, I said to myself . . I have to start this today! I didn’t but I did check to see if I had the exact linen her sample is being stitched on and I do. It’s mostly DMC floss so I ordered what I don’t have here.
The called for linen is in the middle. All three of these pieces are by XJu Designs. You already know I’m a big fan of her fabrics. The fabric in the middle is the called for – Granny’s Slip. It has a bit of mottling which is so great for samplers and it’s what’s being used for Teresa’s sample. The fabric on the right is Marbled Pointer and the fabric on the left is Light Hazlenut. Here they all are individually:
I will wait til the floss arrives before making a decision as to the fabric.
Since I already have my stitching plans made for May, I’m going to start this one in June and since June is my birthday month, that will be my birthday start.
It will be almost 20″ long stitched on 40 count and almost 22″ long stitched on 36 count. Lately I’ve been leaning towards smaller projects since I have two big ones started – Farmhouse Christmas and Pet All The Dogs, but I love Let Love Reign so much . . I have to start it.
At the bottom of the floss colors page, Teresa has this blurb, which means this chart should be available for everyone to purchase within the next year.
