There was a cabinet base with countertop on it that Jeremy had in the garage for storage and he left it. We use the metal shelf units so Vince pulled the cabinet out, will probably take it apart and get rid of it. That’s what I was using for my potting table yesterday. It’s countertop high so it isn’t short.
I had been potting for a while . . you can see the mess. I looked over and there was a little frog sitting on the table watching me.
He didn’t seem afraid of me. I talked to him for a while. When I’d walk from one side of the table to the other, he’d turn and look at me. I showed him to Vince, who wasn’t nearly as excited about the new friend as I was. I went off to water all the plants and when I came back, the frog was gone. Vince said “You left so he did too!”
He made me smile and I hope I made him happy for a few minutes.

I love when nature comes up to greet us! (That being said, I often commented to my husband about all the nature that came to visit you in Texas.) Frogs, garden spiders and the like make me happy!

It really is funny that all the critters seem to come see what I’m doing.

Lovely little creatures! Can you cut a hole and add a dishpan to use the cabinet as a potting table? I couldn’t remember if you had a potting table.
Judy Laquidara says
No. It’s wood and we have no place to keep it where it wouldn’t get rained on. I have a metal table I can use – not my ideal potting table but I won’t be doing a lot of potting type work here.
