Boots stayed up stairs the entire day and so far, no biting!
His pupils still get too big for my comfort and he still swishes his tail. Noises still make him jump. He’s been here long enough that it seems to me he should be used to most of the sounds. Even in Texas, when I stayed in the sewing room too long, he’d bite sometimes so I can live with a bite every now and then but not like he was doing. I’m so glad he’s better.
I was cross stitching and he got up on the little table next to my chair. He likes staying pretty close but he also loves to go off in our bedroom, where he’s alone and sleep. He stayed in there probably half the day.
He was reaching up towards me with his front paw.
When I went back in there the last time, he had moved around a bit . . pupils big again He got down out of bed so I took him downstairs for a while so he could eat. I don’t think I’m going to leave him loose in the house tonight. I may never do that. We don’t sleep with our door closed and the last few times I tried it, he got in and out of bed a dozen times before I took him downstairs.
I’m so happy he’s being a good cat again. I’ll be happier when I stop seeing those big, black eyes though.

He’s so handsome! I’m glad he is having some better “cat-itude” lately.

For the longest time, by the time he got to the top of the stairs, his pupils were huge and black. He came up this morning arond 6 and I haven’t seen big black pupils yet but last night when I took him back to the sewing room, he wasn’t happy about going down there and by the time I left him, his pupils were huge and black.

We had several mice crawl up the side of our house under the siding and get caught in the wall. We could faintly hear something but couldn’t locate it. But when it turned summer we started to smell an off odor. Have you considered that he might hear or smell mice in the walls or roof? We ended up ripping out the wall, patching up the holes, and then redoing the wall.
