The moving “chores” continue. It’s amazing how much we’ve both forgotten about what needs to be done. Maybe it’s because we’re older but it seems more frustrating than I remember. Or . . Vince did all this from work before so all the moaning and complaining he does to himself . . I didn’t hear.
We spent about three hours this morning making changes online. Of course, if I’m having to think of more than one password, I don’t remember any of them and they all have to be rest and that’s very frustrating to Vince, as it should be. All I want to do is cross stitch. I’ll be so happy when this is over.
We use the digital library services instead of going to the real library. In Texas, we used the local library and the Houston Public Library. I don’t know if they get notified that we’ve moved but I wanted to get set up on the MO digital system because I listen to a lot of audio books and I read a lot. I’m surprised Texas didn’t but around here, if you don’t live in the city limits, you have to pay an annual fee to use the local library. We’re about the same distance from the Carthage library as we are from the Webb City library so we went to the Carthage library this morning, paid our $20 (per family) and got library cards.
There’s a Mexican restaurant in Carthage that I love. Jeremy brought food by here one evening before Vince got here and it was so good so Addie and I went one Saturday when she was here. It’s in an old building, not terribly nice but clean. It isn’t a place I would have stopped had I not already had food from there so I was hesitant to suggested it to Vince. Sometimes there are places I don’t have a problem eating and he doesn’t mind at all, and vice versa. There’s one place here we went in once . . I looked around and said NO and we left without eating. Everyone kept telling us it was great so we finally tried it and now we love it.
Anyway, I told Vince about the Mexican restaurant in Carthage and he decided if the food was good, he’d try it. He loved it. He seriously wants to go back for dinner. He got a dish that had beef and chicken fajita meat in it, along with shrimp and other things and it was so good. I keep getting the same thing . . three times now . . some kind of street taco with really tender beef strips, grilled pineapple and other things. I love that dish but I should try something different.
I doubt we go back for dinner tonight but I’ll bet we go back real soon.

Get a small password book (tabbed with space for website, user name, password, hints). The front is blank so a casual look at it and you would assume that it is for addresses. I try to write everything in pencil as well as a code. It is very useful since I have a bunch of passwords, though for similar websites, I use the same PW and change at least annually.
Also, when the sites have security questions, I use wrong answers, such as the city I was born is answered with my first car type. As long as I am consistent, it works.

That’s what I have but I don’t always change things when I change passwords.

So what is the name of the restaurant?
Judy Laquidara says
Taqueria Los Compas

Use an electronic password generator/keeper. There are many available. Your passwords will be complex and secure. You can autofill so never have to type them or remember them.

We had used one of the ones mentioned and in 2019, when they had a potential breach, we stopped using those. We have a notebook but I’m really bad about changing mine and not changing it in the notebook.

I am so envious of your ability to go to good restaurants! On both ends of the country we live 20+ miles from really crappy restaurants, 55 miles from a decent restaurant but expensive and 100 miles from a selection of decent restaurants! I am so envious!

It’s pretty hard to believe how many good, moderately priced places to eat there are within 10 miles of our house. Yesterday Vince said “It’s like being on vacation every day here!”
