This afternoon I picked Addie up after school. Before getting her, I went by their house and got about 8 pints of redbud juice for making jelly. Chad picked them, washed them and soaked them. He was in a hurry (late one night – during the middle of the week) so I told him to use 1 cup water per 1 cup blossoms. That was quick and easy for him to do so it’s very concentrated juice. I’ll have to dilute it before making jelly but I do plan to make some this weekend.
Addie is playing a game on her tablet. Vince is playing a game on the computer in the dining room. I’m fixing to start cross stitching as soon as I get Rita’s lastest batch of dog food packaged and in the freezer.
Vince didn’t go with me to get Addie but he met us at the Mexican restaurant. We ate and came home. It’s a cool, rainy night so we’re all sitting around relaxing, and doing what we enjoy.
I had planned to grill burgers tomorrow but Vince just said Papa John’s (or some place) has pizza on sale so he wants to get pizza tomorrow. Guess I’m off the hook for cooking again . . more cross stitchng time!

More time for what you love to do is always good!

It’s so nice that you can spend casual time with Addie now that you’re closer and don’t have to try to cram in a lot of stuff in a small amount of time.
