Blackbird Designs did a reprint of their Souvenirs of Summer booklet. I was able to get one from Kitten Stitcher and I hope since it’s still listed on their webpage, they have them but if you think you want one, don’t wait. Blackbird Designs . . everything but especially old reprints go quickly.

I wasn’t sure that I was going to get it but it arrived yesterday and I think . . no big surprise . . I’m going to work on Summer Jubilee soon. So much for my plan.

When the booklet arrived, I sat down and looked at it. When I saw Summer Jubilee, I wanted to do it! I told myself if I had fabric that would work, I could start it soon. I didn’t remember having any gray but I actually have one piece of gray. I don’t remember the count though. The chart calls for 30 count but if what I have here works, I’m starting it. If what I have here doesn’t work . . it will have to wait. I’m not ordering fabric. Nope! Not doing it.

Here’s the back side of the booklet that shows all the charts. The fish doesn’t so much thrill me but I could see me doing all the others. I sure I hope I live to be at least 200 and am able to cross stitch all those years! 🙂

If you could turn the fish into a whale, it would be awesome! 🙂
