Remember when I got the XJu linen in last week and I said I knew what I wanted to use the yellow linen to make?
The project I have in mind is Antique Christmas Sampler by Elizabeth’s Needlework Designs.
I think the yellow (Primrose) will be perfect. I haven’t opened it up to measure but it should be about 13 x 18 and, according to the calculator, I should need about 11-1/2″ x 12-1/2″. Since I’m framing it myself, I’ll be hapy with about 9-1/2″ x 10″.
I have all the threads already so this may be one I start soon so I’ll have a few pieces finished by Christmas. It seems like a long time til Christmas but with us already being close to mid-April, Christmas decorating season is honestly going to be here before we know it.

Oh I love that! Yes, I’m always thinking I have more time. Mother’s Day is right around the corner and for some reason I think of that as a mid point of the year. Who knows why? Not me, that’s for sure.

May (5th month) x two = October (10th month) and that’s when we start seeing the Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas stuff in stores. I think many people start thinking about shopping, going places and so on. So, perhaps that’s why you think of Mother’s Day as halfway through the year?

NO!! I am NOT going to order this! Really like this chart though I may, you are NOT going to entice me this time. I still have X-stitch supplies and charts, too much…..not going to buy more! I will not get another thing just for you to take the blame for my purchase. Now aren’t you happy to hear that?

Order it yet? 🙂

This made me laugh out loud! Judy, you answered her only 45 minutes after she posted. Have you no faith in your dear friend? Too funny!

I’ve known her for a very long time! 🙂
