Vince has been in and out of the sewing room all day working on the router, switching one, adding another, going back to the first. We have a new one that should be here tomorrow. I had been having problems with it but lived with it because I had no idea how to fix it. One hour of Vince using it and it had to go.
With him in and out of the sewing room, I told him just to leave the door open and Boots would probably come up here and not try to supervise and assist in Vince’s work.
Boots has been upstairs and on my lap almost all day. He hasn’t tried to bite once! He’s purring and being a really sweet kitty. Strange noises scare him and he jumps. The dishwasher is a bit noisy and he didn’t like that. Vince’s recliner downstairs makes noise when Vince puts it up or down and that scares Boots.
This is probably the longest he’s been upstairs in months that he hasn’t bitten me and I had to take him back downstairs. Progress . . I hope.
He’s really been super sweet. He isn’t content being on my lap. He wants his head on my chest and a paw either on my neck or face. Makes it a bit hard to cross stitch but loving on a sweet kitty is better than cross stitching any day.

How nice! Maybe the thing you have plugged in (Feliway?) is having a cumulative effect, and maybe you and Boots can continue to enjoy each other, as long as he gets his time in the sewing room.

Boots probably wanted Vince to get there sooner?

So glad Boots is having a good day…..maybe Vince being there is keeping him calm.

I think all is right in his little world now that Vince has arrived.

Sounds like Vince was the purr-fect cure!

Yeppie headway at least. Maybe with Vince there things will get back to his normal. I know he didn’t live in house then but hoping this will make things better. I’m glad he shows you love like that too.
